Carpenter

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications to guide project execution
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, and other building materials using hand and power tools
• Construct and install framing, flooring, wall systems, doors, windows, and trim work
• Install stairs, railings, cabinetry, and other structural and finishing elements
• Perform demolition and site preparation work as needed
• Maintain tools and work areas in safe, organized condition
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other trades on the jobsite
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a related carpentry trade
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction drawings
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
• Reliable, punctual attendance and commitment to safety
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Cartersville job site
