Stage Data Scientist – Paris (H/F/X)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading data and AI consulting firm seeking a talented Data Scientist Intern for their Paris office. Our client works with major enterprise organizations across retail, hospitality, luxury goods, telecommunications, and other sectors, helping transform data into measurable business impact.

This is a 6-month internship starting January 2027, ideal for final-year students pursuing opportunities in data science and artificial intelligence. The role offers strong potential for conversion to a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end data science projects, ensuring quality and timely completion
• Communicate your work and findings effectively within cross-functional teams
• Collaborate closely with consulting counterparts to understand and address client needs
• Ensure technical solutions directly address business challenges and deliver measurable value
• Research and develop innovative technical approaches to solve complex problems efficiently
• Share best practices and contribute to the organization's technical knowledge base

What We're Looking For

• Final-year engineering student, Master 2, or equivalent in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Available for a 6-month internship beginning January 2027
• Strong understanding of the digital and data ecosystem, including web analytics, data visualization, data science techniques, and related technologies
• Genuine interest in business challenges and applying technical solutions to real-world problems
• Analytical and practical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to break down complex issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
• Fluency in French (written and spoken) required for team collaboration
• Professional English proficiency for international client communication
• Prior experience through internships, academic projects, or consulting engagements in data ecosystems is a strong plus
