Management Consultant Enterprise Architecture (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital transformation consultancy with a strong international presence. Our client is seeking an experienced Management Consultant specializing in Enterprise Architecture to join their advisory team across Hamburg, München, Düsseldorf, or remote locations in Germany.

This role focuses on guiding complex business and IT transformations across diverse industries. You will work directly with business and IT stakeholders up to executive level, shaping architectural strategies and delivering meaningful digital change.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture strategies, governance models, target architectures, and transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
• Design business capabilities, processes, application portfolios, and platform landscapes to enable scalable digital operating models
• Develop modern data architectures including API-first, integration, and event-driven solutions that ensure interoperability
• Lead legacy modernization initiatives, transitioning from monolithic environments to cloud-native, microservices-based architectures
• Design multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments reflecting requirements such as migration strategies, resilience, and DevOps practices
• Drive AI readiness, define architectures for AI-enabled systems, and champion effective use of AI tools in architecture delivery
• Establish architecture principles, standards, processes, and decision frameworks for sustainable enterprise-wide adoption
• Facilitate workshops, apply agile methodologies, and advise on successful implementation of architectural change

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 4 years of proven experience in Enterprise and IT Architecture, ideally across multiple industries
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Architecture Governance, and maturity assessments
• Proficiency with Business Capability Management, Business-IT Alignment, IT Strategy, and IT Governance
• Deep knowledge of business, application, data, integration, technology, and security architecture domains
• Experience with API-first, event-driven, service-oriented, cloud-native, and microservices architectures
• Understanding of data management concepts including master data management, data lakes, and data mesh
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or ServiceNow
• Knowledge of architecture modeling standards like ArchiMate
• Ability to leverage modern AI tools to improve architecture design and consulting delivery
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements
