Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Press Operator to join our Jackson, Tennessee facility. In this role, you'll be responsible for running and maintaining large-format printing presses that produce packaging for major brands. You'll monitor production runs, ensure quality standards are met, and respond quickly to any equipment issues that arise. This is hands-on technical work that requires attention to detail, mechanical problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. The Press Operator position is critical to our production success and offers growth potential for operators who demonstrate reliability and technical aptitude.

Core Duties

• Set up and operate printing presses according to production specifications and work orders
• Adjust press settings including pressure, temperature, ink flow, and registration to achieve quality output
• Monitor production in real-time and make adjustments to maintain consistent color and quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press components to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and communicate problems to supervisors or maintenance teams
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all facility safety protocols
• Record production data and shift information as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating large industrial printing presses
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and technical documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Safety consciousness and willingness to follow all facility and equipment protocols
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
