Senior Business Analyst (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Business Analyst for their Nürnberg office. In this role, you will:

• Analyze, design, and develop technical concepts for innovative IT solutions with a focus on banking and payment processing
• Provide consulting and technical support to clients during requirements discovery and ideation phases
• Advise on platform ecosystems, digitalization strategies, and AI implementation opportunities
• Serve as the critical interface between Product Owners (client-side) and development teams (internal)
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation
• Model business processes and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Work within a modern toolset including Confluence, JIRA, Miro, Slack, and standard office applications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver client solutions

What We're Looking For

• Fluent German (negotiation-level) and very good English skills
• University degree and/or professional qualification (Business Informatics, Economics, or related fields considered)
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in business analysis, project management, product ownership, or comparable roles
• Several years of solid experience working in agile environments with Scrum and similar methodologies
• Excellent skills in gathering, managing, and presenting requirements
• Extensive experience serving as liaison between clients and development teams
• Openness to adopting modern tools, including AI-assisted solutions, in daily workflows
• Ability to provide innovative consulting to clients
• Exceptional communication skills
• Scrum Master certification preferred
