Our talent team is representing a confidential data and AI consultancy seeking a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Data & AI Strategy for their Berlin or Munich offices. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technological possibilities and business requirements, supporting clients from focused mid-market projects to multi-phase AI transformations in large enterprises.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Client Advisory & Strategy: Work closely with international clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into data-driven recommendations that support strategic decisions and business transformation.
- Data & Analysis: Collect, structure, and prepare data for analysis. Use tools like Excel, SQL, and Python to identify trends, patterns, and concrete action recommendations, communicating these clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Data & AI Solutions: Support the development of data strategies, AI use cases, and business intelligence solutions while contributing to governance frameworks and implementation roadmaps.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking motivated, capable, and thoughtful professionals who are hungry for new challenges and eager to learn and grow. The ideal candidate brings:
- Professional Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in management/data consulting or a comparable in-house function, with demonstrable success in data/AI strategy, cloud transformation, or applied AI/machine learning projects.
- Data & AI Understanding: High affinity for data management and modern AI technologies. You're familiar with concepts like Generative AI, LLMs, and Predictive Analytics, and passionate about closing the gap between business requirements and AI deployment. Experience in AI use-case design or data platform tracking is ideal.
- Business Orientation & Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills combined with business-oriented thinking. You enjoy identifying business challenges and translating them into practical, AI and data-driven solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required. Hands-on experience with statistics tools, BI software, or programming languages like SQL, R, or Python for data exploration and preparation is a strong advantage.
- Communication & Team Spirit: Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly in both German and English. You enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and value collaboration across different levels and functions, acting as a translator between business stakeholders and data scientists.
- Personality: Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented with strong customer and stakeholder focus. You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy solving complex problems.
- Language Skills: Excellent German and English skills are essential. You will participate in client workshops, present to senior decision-makers, and author documents in both languages. Additional language skills are advantageous.
- Work Authorization: Valid work authorization for Germany is required.
