Account Executive, Mid Market

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for an Account Executive focused on mid-market sales. This is a fully remote position based in the USA, offering the chance to sell an AI-powered automation platform during a pivotal growth phase.

You'll own the complete sales cycle for companies with up to 1,000 employees, building your own pipeline through outbound prospecting and converting warm signals into closed deals. This isn't a mature, fully-defined sales motion—you'll help architect the go-to-market approach alongside a small, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

• Own mid-market accounts end-to-end: prospecting, discovery, negotiation, close, and expansion
• Sell an AI-powered automation platform to organizations transitioning from manual workflows to orchestrated operations
• Build relationships at events, conferences, and executive briefings
• Develop and navigate senior-level relationships across organizations, from practitioners to C-suite executives
• Lead consultative conversations that focus on business impact and ROI, not just product features
• Coordinate complex deals across Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams
• Contribute to shaping the mid-market go-to-market strategy in an early-stage sales environment

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of demonstrated success selling horizontal SaaS solutions to multi-stakeholder or technical organizations at the mid-market level
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing software deals independently
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and workflow automation tools
• Ability to discuss IT concerns including security, scalability, compliance, and performance credibly
• Excellent communication skills with both customers and internal stakeholders
• Comfort operating in ambiguity with strong personal drive and ownership mentality
• Active use of AI tools in your current workflow—not occasional experimentation, but integrated into how you operate daily
• Experience building and iterating on AI-assisted workflows with measurable impact on efficiency and quality
• Ability to build business cases and frame ROI from customer pain points, not just demo features

This role is not a fit if: You require established SDR/BDR support, a defined territory, and fully built enablement programs; you prioritize activity volume over deal quality; or you prefer structured, repeatable processes over building in ambiguity.
