People Operations Generalist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mobile technology organization seeking a People Operations Generalist to join their growing team. This full-time role supports the complete employee lifecycle across a global workforce, with primary focus on the Americas region (United States, Brazil, and Canada). You'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional employee experiences through HR ticketing support, leave management, benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, immigration support, and collaboration with business partner teams on people programs impacting employees worldwide.

This is a fully remote position available in CA, CO, ID, IL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OR, PA, TX, UT, and WA. The role includes quarterly in-person gatherings for team collaboration and company events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees' HR-related inquiries through the HR ticketing system, maintaining confidentiality and delivering an excellent employee experience
• Manage global HR onboarding and offboarding processes for all new hires and terminations, with Americas region focus, including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and work authorization compliance
• Administer and manage all compliance-related training globally
• Maintain current employee data in the global HRIS system; UKG/Ultipro experience is highly valued
• Ensure accurate employee records and data integrity across all systems
• Administer US leave of absence compliance through the organization's leave management system, ensuring seamless employee experiences
• Provide additional leave support for Canada and Brazil-based employees outside the primary system
• Support benefits administration and partner with international benefits providers across the Americas
• Assist during performance and compensation cycles, including bi-annual merit and promotion processes
• Support employee engagement surveys and people programs impacting the global population
• Serve as backup for EMEA/APAC-related onboarding, offboarding, leaves, benefits, and employee inquiries
• Collaborate with the broader People Operations team to implement and improve company-wide people processes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of HR Generalist/Operations experience in fast-paced technology environments; startup and public company experience preferred
• PHR or aPHR certification OR willingness to obtain certification within 18 months of hire
• Experience managing global HR systems, preferably UKG/Ultipro
• Prior experience with leave administration in the US; experience with Canada and Brazil is a plus
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, including reassigning, categorizing, and updating tickets, is beneficial
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and commitment to workplace integrity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to give and receive constructive feedback that builds trust and respect

Pay

Compensation through Get A Job.ai varies based on your location and experience within these ranges:

• SF Bay Area, Los Angeles/Orange County, Seattle: $82,000 - $100,000 plus bonus
• All other California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington state locations: $75,000 - $92,000 plus bonus
• All other approved states: $70,000 - $86,000 plus bonus
