This remote role focuses on leveraging your aerospace and mechanical design expertise to support an advanced technical project involving high-fidelity, multi-part assemblies. You'll apply your domain knowledge to create precise technical content that will inform next-generation systems—no AI background required, just your engineering expertise.

Responsibilities

• Author objective, multi-part technical questions about aerospace assemblies that require exact, non-guessable answers based on engineering principles
• Review and analyze native FreeCAD files to understand complex mechanical assemblies and their component relationships
• Develop multiple high-quality questions per assembly, ensuring comprehensive coverage of features, functions, and part interactions
• Provide clear, well-researched answers to each question with direct reference to assembly data and specifications
• Collaborate through written and occasional verbal communication to clarify technical requirements and ensure accuracy
• Maintain a standards-driven approach, delivering content that is comprehensive, relevant, and platform-agnostic
• Contribute to documentation and feedback workflows to continuously improve deliverable quality

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated expertise in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or industrial design with strong CAD fundamentals
• Hands-on experience working with multi-part CAD assemblies, including interpreting complex design intent and technical drawings
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Familiarity with FreeCAD or similar CAD platforms (FreeCAD experience is a plus but not required)
• Proven ability to author precise technical questions and answers, ideally in educational or documentation settings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, objective technical content
• Interest in supporting the advancement of intelligent design support technologies
