The successful candidate will create compelling, conversion-focused content across multiple formats including blog posts, landing pages, ad copy, sales collateral, and thought leadership pieces. All content must be on-brand, SEO-optimized, and aligned with marketing and sales objectives.

Responsibilities

• Write long-form and short-form content including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, and web pages
• Produce copy for advertisements, email campaigns, and sales materials
• Research keywords and incorporate SEO best practices into all written content
• Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimize for search intent and ranking performance
• Conduct in-depth research on industry topics, competitors, and emerging trends
• Interview subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content
• Proofread and edit all deliverables for grammar, clarity, consistency, and accuracy
• Maintain content calendars and deliver projects on time
• Work with designers, marketers, and sales teams to align copy with visuals and campaigns
• Monitor content performance using analytics tools and provide improvement recommendations
• Update existing content to maintain freshness and SEO relevance

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional writing or copywriting experience
• Portfolio demonstrating content across multiple formats (blogs, web copy, ads, collateral)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Strong research and editing skills
• Excellent storytelling ability with a flair for persuasive, engaging writing
• Ability to tailor tone and style for different audiences and formats
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

• Background writing for B2B SaaS, marketing agencies, or professional services
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Clearscope
• Experience writing conversion-focused copy for ads, landing pages, and email sequences
• Knowledge of content management systems like WordPress or HubSpot
