Motion Graphic Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential legal technology company in their search for a Motion Graphic Designer to join their London team. Our client is scaling rapidly and needs a founding motion designer to own visual storytelling across product launches, feature announcements, and marketing campaigns.

This is a hands-on role with significant ownership from day one. You'll define motion standards, build reusable systems, and create content that directly supports growth objectives. Responsibilities

• Create launch videos, product animations, and feature announcement content
• Translate complex workflows into clear, compelling visual narratives
• Develop a motion system including templates, transitions, components, and export standards
• Produce social media assets, event openers, conference loops, and sales enablement materials
• Collaborate with writers, designers, and producers from concept through final delivery
• Define how motion supports brand positioning, growth initiatives, and product storytelling
• Leverage AI tools to enhance quality, speed, and creative output

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of motion design experience, preferably in-house at a product or technology organization
• Strong portfolio of shipped work with clear ability to discuss creative decisions
• Excellent taste and high craft standards
• Strong narrative instincts with ability to simplify complex concepts visually
• Ownership mindset—comfortable building systems and processes, not just executing briefs
• High initiative—you identify gaps and take action proactively
• AI-first approach—actively using modern tools to increase quality and velocity
• Advanced proficiency in After Effects and Figma
• Comfortable with Premiere for editing workflows

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience with Rive, Lottie, GSAP, or web motion
• 3D capabilities in Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar
• Familiarity with AI video tools
• Track record building reusable motion libraries or design systems
