Senior Manager*in Female Player Care

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential sports organization in Frankfurt am Main for a Senior Manager, Female Player Care position. This is a part-time role (50%) with an initial contract through December 31, 2027.

We are seeking a former professional athlete with exceptional networks in elite women's football to serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner for national team athletes, focusing on holistic wellbeing, career development, and health initiatives specific to female athletes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a confidential point of contact for personal and off-field matters for national team players across senior and youth levels
• Develop and implement women's health and wellbeing programs addressing topics such as menstrual cycle management, pregnancy, and career-specific health considerations in collaboration with medical experts and clubs
• Design and execute mental health awareness, prevention, and support initiatives, connecting athletes with appropriate professional resources
• Create educational, mentoring, and advisory programs supporting dual careers, continuing education, and career transitions during and after active playing careers
• Build and maintain networks with current and former players, clubs, educational institutions, and relevant partner organizations
• Integrate player perspectives into program development and support engagement in network events, communications, media, and sponsor activities

What We're Looking For

• Completed playing career at elite level, preferably including national team experience
• Outstanding network within national teams and high-performance women's football
• University degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• Proactive, communicative, and solution-oriented working style
• Experience working with professional sports organizations, clubs, performance centers, or sports institutions
• Passion for football and comprehensive knowledge of current topics in elite sport
• Ability to thrive in both short-term deliverables and long-term strategic projects within a dynamic environment
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working within interdisciplinary teams
