Regional Fleet Manager (m/f/d) – North-East

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential mobility company in their search for a Regional Fleet Manager to oversee operations across the North-East region based in Berlin. This is a leadership role where you'll manage technical teams and fleet operations across approximately 10 locations, ensuring vehicle availability, repair quality, and cost efficiency for a fleet of around 1,000 vehicles.

You'll report directly to senior fleet leadership and serve as a key member of the regional management team, driving strategic initiatives that keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the maintenance, repair, and fleet transfer budget across the region, ensuring cost-efficient and high-quality repairs
• Define repair strategies for individual vehicles based on damage assessments and operational priorities
• Maintain strong vehicle availability by coordinating workshop capacity, scheduling, and spare parts logistics
• Build and optimize both internal and external workshop networks to improve turnaround times and reduce costs
• Lead and develop station-based fleet teams including technicians, fleet managers, and damage detection experts
• Track and analyze key performance indicators such as repair costs, turnaround times, and damage detection accuracy
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across fleet operations and repair processes
• Manage spare parts inventory and workshop network relationships
• Travel regularly to internal stations and external vendors within the region

What We're Looking For

• Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a similar technical field
• 5+ years of experience in fleet management, maintenance, repair, or workshop management
• 3+ years of direct people management experience, preferably in technical and operational environments
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills with a focus on efficiency and quality outcomes
• Confident leadership abilities with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-site environments with regular regional travel
• Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken
• Proficiency in maintenance or fleet management systems such as SAP or Oracle

Pay

The salary for this position is up to €60,000 gross annually, with annual performance reviews.
