About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential aerospace technology client in Munich, Germany. They are seeking an intern to support radiation testing of electronic components and test automation for advanced avionics systems. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in space-grade electronics qualification and automated testing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble radiation test PCBs for components undergoing qualification testing
  • Test assembled PCBs and debug circuits in laboratory settings
  • Perform soldering and adaptation of components as required
  • Automate radiation test setups and generate comprehensive test reports
  • Potentially attend radiation test campaigns at particle accelerator facilities
  • Analyze radiation effects on electronic circuits and document findings in detailed test reports

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Embedded Systems Design
  • Hands-on experience with soldering and debugging electronics circuits
  • Basic knowledge of verification and validation processes for avionics and embedded software
  • Experience with Python for test automation, device control, and data visualization
  • Understanding of digital and analog electronic design principles
  • Familiarity with Altium Designer and LTSPICE or comparable software solutions is a plus
  • Basic understanding of space avionics systems is advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
