Senior Product Owner – Data & Analytics (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential D2C beauty client in their search for a Senior Product Owner - Data & Analytics. Our client is a fast-scaling, purpose-driven organization operating across multiple European markets with ambitious growth plans and a strong commitment to data-informed decision-making.

This is a high-impact role where you'll own the analytics product roadmap, partner directly with commercial leadership, and ensure data capabilities translate into measurable business outcomes. You'll bridge the gap between stakeholder needs and technical delivery, working at the intersection of product management, business intelligence, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the company-wide analytics function including KPI frameworks, reporting cadence, BI tooling, data glossaries, and decision-support standards
• Lead the product delivery roadmap for the central data analytics team, prioritizing initiatives that drive commercial value
• Translate business questions from Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other functions into scoped, prioritized data products and repeatable analyses
• Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that data engineering and analytics teams can execute without ambiguity
• Drive discovery and experimentation with stakeholders for new data capabilities, from self-serve analytics tooling to ML-powered features
• Partner closely with senior leadership to shape how the organization builds and ships data products
• Champion data literacy and analytical best practices across the business

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years in a product management or product owner role focused on BI, analytics, or closely adjacent functions within D2C, e-commerce, or consumer brands
• Strong business acumen with deep understanding of D2C metrics including CAC, LTV, CIR/ROAS, contribution margin, cohort analytics, and marketing attribution
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to operate at C-level, translating ambiguous commercial questions into sharp, actionable analysis
• Comfortable creating structure and moving quickly in fast-paced startup environments; you thrive in ambiguity rather than being paralyzed by it
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience writing SQL or working directly with data and AI tools is a strong plus
• Exposure to modern data stack concepts (data warehouses, self-serve analytics platforms, ML pipelines) helpful but not required
