About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology organization seeking skilled developers for a specialized AI training project. This is a remote contract role focused on algorithmic problem-solving, debugging, and technical reasoning challenges that help advance machine learning capabilities.

Contractors work approximately 15 hours per week on a flexible schedule—you choose when you work, including weekends if preferred. This is a fully remote, global opportunity for experienced programmers who excel at solving complex, self-contained technical puzzles.

Responsibilities

• Solve self-contained coding, logic, debugging, and technical reasoning challenges designed to test advanced AI capabilities
• Analyze unfamiliar problems and translate requirements into implementable solutions
• Select appropriate algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving strategies for diverse technical challenges
• Work within terminal-based development environments and navigate existing codebases
• Implement correct and efficient solutions using appropriate programming languages
• Identify ambiguous requirements, edge cases, hidden assumptions, and failure conditions
• Debug incorrect behavior across code, tests, dependencies, and environment configurations
• Develop tests and verification methods that distinguish genuinely correct solutions from superficially plausible ones
• Review AI-generated solutions and identify logic errors, incomplete reasoning, and constraint violations
• Produce clear, reproducible solutions that can be executed and evaluated automatically
• Document reasoning, implementation decisions, and technical trade-offs clearly

What We're Looking For

• Strong algorithmic problem-solving ability with demonstrable experience
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as C++, Python, Java, Rust, Go, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Strong understanding of common data structures and algorithms
• Ability to reason carefully about constraints, complexity, edge cases, and correctness
• Experience debugging unfamiliar code or solving technically ambiguous problems
• Ability to work independently in terminal-based development environments
• Ability to produce reproducible, testable software solutions
• Clear written and verbal technical communication skills
• Nice to have: A public or verifiable competitive programming profile (such as Codeforces) demonstrating meaningful experience
