Stage Data Analyst – Paris (H/F/X)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data consulting organization seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join their Paris team. In this role, you will work closely with consultants and data scientists on client projects with real business impact. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting, cleaning, and preparing data from diverse sources including internal databases, APIs, and logs
• Exploring and analyzing datasets to identify trends, anomalies, correlations, and useful patterns
• Contributing to the design and creation of dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar platforms to present results to teams and clients
• Helping define relevant KPIs aligned with business objectives
• Collaborating with business teams (marketing, product, etc.) to understand their needs and translate them into actionable analyses
• Assisting in automating reporting processes and simple analyses
• Documenting your work, sharing results and learnings with the team, and proposing improvements or new approaches when appropriate

What We're Looking For

Education and Experience:

• Final-year student in Engineering, Master's 2, or equivalent program with specialization in Data, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Seeking an end-of-studies internship starting January 2027

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Working knowledge of programming languages for data analysis, particularly Python (with pandas, numpy, etc.)
• Solid understanding of fundamental statistical principles (means, distributions, tests, correlations, variance, etc.)
• Ability to create visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent tools
• Basic knowledge of the digital and data ecosystem (web analytics, data lakes, data visualization, etc.) is a plus

Personal Skills:

• Logical and analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to explain results to non-technical audiences
• Team player who listens and understands business needs
• Proactive, curious, and capable of proposing new ideas or approaches
• Autonomous while comfortable with feedback and guidance
• Professional-level French (oral and written); English proficiency is a plus for communications and documentation

Position Details:

• 6-month internship based in Paris, 9th arrondissement
• Potential for permanent employment (CDI) following successful completion of internship
