Senior Product Manager – Createspace, Canada Based

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential edtech organization seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product development for their content creation platform. This Canada-based role offers the opportunity to shape learning experiences used by millions while working in a hybrid environment with talented cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Exercise curiosity and empathy to build products that users love; initiate and lead both internal and external stakeholder discovery sessions
• Develop and maintain product and feature roadmaps that balance business viability, customer value, feasibility, and usability in collaboration with engineering and design
• Translate organizational strategy and market requirements into actionable product roadmaps by collaborating with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer engagement teams
• Effectively translate product vision into detailed product requirements including functional needs, use cases, workflows, constraints, and success criteria
• Lead the complete product development lifecycle in an agile environment from use case development through delivery, post-release, and end-of-life
• Drive product innovation and advocate for product direction to build industry-leading creation products and services
• Ensure all release candidates meet product requirements through close collaboration with quality assurance
• Develop and maintain a data-driven product backlog, regularly collecting market input from customers, sales, support, and competitive intelligence
• Conduct feasibility analysis, ROI assessments, business case development, and build/buy/partner evaluations
• Represent thought leadership at industry events

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of software product management experience with demonstrated expertise in product planning, market research, competitive analysis, product positioning, enablement, and evangelism
• Proven track record of delivering data-backed, measured business outcomes
• Strong ability to create strategy and vision for larger initiatives or cross-cutting projects
• Experience creating roadmaps aligned to strategy for tools or experiences
• Demonstrated capability in planning, prioritizing, and visualizing thin slices of work
• Go-to-market planning experience
• Acumen with artificial intelligence tools
• Excellence in cross-functional communication and collaboration with development, design, and stakeholders across the organization
• Strategic thinking combined with strong business and technical skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 3 days per week from a Canadian office location (Kitchener, Winnipeg, or Vancouver)

Pay

The client has indicated a base salary range of $110,000 to $150,000 CAD for this role, determined by relevant knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Additional compensation may include equity grants, variable incentive plans, wellness subsidies, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.
