Our talent team is representing a confidential content marketing agency seeking a bilingual PPC freelancer for remote, casual project work. This is an excellent opportunity for a paid media specialist with Japanese fluency to collaborate with international teams while working flexible hours from the UK or nearby time zones.

Responsibilities

• Manage Google Ads campaigns including Search, Performance Max and Display for Japanese-speaking markets
• Translate and adapt ad copy for Japanese audiences while maintaining brand tone and cultural appropriateness
• Conduct keyword research using local tools and methods specific to the Japanese market
• Analyze search term reports and keyword data in Japanese to inform optimization strategies
• Develop and maintain negative keyword lists based on Japanese search behavior
• Prepare performance insights and metrics that align with global PPC reporting frameworks
• Provide strategic recommendations on targeting, ad structure and messaging for Japanese campaigns
• Deliver clear written updates and context behind optimizations to English-speaking team members

What We're Looking For

• Native, fluent or professional-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written)
• 2–3 years minimum experience in paid media, ideally including international campaign management
• Proven track record managing Google Ads campaigns, particularly for B2B clients
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience with regional performance reporting and strategic campaign recommendations
• Excellent written communication skills for asynchronous collaboration across time zones
• Familiarity with keyword research beyond automated translation tools
• Bonus: Experience with NAVER ads or Korean language proficiency
• Bonus: Background working with multinational clients where Japan was a target market
