About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential localization services organization seeking a Director of Business Development to join their Paris office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional with deep experience in life sciences or language services to take full ownership of new business development in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Our client operates globally and is looking for someone who can leverage existing industry knowledge to build new client relationships from the ground up—from initial lead generation through contract close and ongoing account management.

Responsibilities

• Drive new revenue growth through direct sales focused on life sciences clients
• Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities with full pipeline ownership
• Generate prospective leads through cold calling, internet research, networking events, trade shows, and direct marketing
• Present solutions via one-on-one, group, online, and in-person meetings
• Manage pricing and contractual negotiations while ensuring profitability
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Provide ongoing customer support and manage client expectations
• Quote, manage, and bill projects on a daily basis

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of sales and strategic business development experience within the life sciences or localization industries
• Proven track record selling large localization technology deals
• Strong ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships
• Demonstrated success with consultative selling and solution-based approaches
• Excellent multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
• Team-oriented mindset with experience collaborating across diverse teams
• Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness
• Results-driven approach with a focus on exceeding targets
• Fluency in French and English required
