Responsibilities

Our client, a fast-growing SaaS platform in the developer tools and monitoring space, is looking for a Senior Product Engineer to build reliability tooling for the AI era. You will:

  • Build and ship full-stack features using AI coding assistants (Claude, Codex, or similar) across the entire development lifecycle—from exploration and scaffolding to refactoring, testing, and debugging
  • Talk directly to developers, DevOps engineers, and SRE teams to understand their workflows, pain points, and feedback, then use those insights to validate ideas and iterate quickly
  • Identify and solve the right problems—focusing on real developer pain like flaky tests, unclear failures, and noisy alerts—shipping pragmatic solutions that validate in production
  • Own your work end-to-end: shape the idea, implement, roll out, monitor in production, and support customers when issues arise
  • Participate in on-call rotation and weekly support rotation as part of the engineering team

What We're Looking For

We're representing a client who needs someone with hands-on experience shipping software in production, not just prototypes. You should have:

  • Proven experience shipping features with AI coding tools in production—you've taken work from zero to shipped with a comparable stack (Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Golang, Postgres, or similar)
  • Strong background building and operating production software: you understand edge cases, incidents, regressions, observability, and aren't surprised when things break
  • Product thinking alongside technical skills—you can evaluate whether a solution actually solves the customer problem, not just whether it's technically elegant
  • Comfort working autonomously in a remote, async-first environment while still collaborating effectively with distributed teammates
  • Location within UTC-3 to UTC+3 time zones, with ability to travel to European countries without visa delays for annual team events

This role may not be right for you if:

  • You're skeptical about AI coding tools—the client uses them extensively in daily workflows
  • You prefer synchronous, meeting-heavy cultures over written, async communication
  • You expect separate QA, ops, or support teams—engineers own the full lifecycle including on-call and customer support
  • You need stable, long-term roadmaps—priorities shift based on customer feedback and market signals
