Claims Specialist

About the Role

As a Claims Specialist at Wexinc, you'll be a key member of our claims processing team. Working remotely, you'll manage claims from submission through resolution, ensuring accurate, timely handling of each case. Core Duties

• Receive, review, and process incoming claims with careful attention to accuracy
• Verify claim eligibility against coverage requirements and policy terms
• Gather and review documentation submitted by claimants and third parties
• Investigate claim details and request additional information when necessary
• Communicate with customers, providers, and team members throughout the claims process
• Make claim determinations and authorize payments or denials per company guidelines
• Maintain organized, detailed case records in our claims management systems
• Follow all regulatory requirements and company policies in claims handling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Customer service experience or background in claims processing preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable learning and using new computer software systems
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a remote setting
• Strong commitment to compliance and accuracy in all work
