E-Commerce Product Owner:in (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization in Berlin, and we're seeking an E-Commerce Product Owner to drive their digital shop strategy. In this role, you will:

• Own the product roadmap for the webshop, steering feature development based on business impact and ensuring seamless UX/UI experiences across all devices
• Optimize conversion rates throughout the entire funnel—from search and product detail pages through to checkout
• Drive data-driven growth using GA4, BI tools, and A/B testing, taking full KPI responsibility for conversion rate, average order value, cart abandonment, and revenue per visitor
• Develop customer-friendly compatibility filters and intelligent bundle mechanics that reduce complexity and increase cart value
• Lead innovative AI-powered shopping features, including guided selling, semantic search, and conversational assistance
• Serve as the agile interface between customer needs, business goals, and tech/design/marketing teams, translating requirements and ensuring release quality

What We're Looking For

• Several years of hands-on experience in transactional e-commerce with proven success in conversion rate and funnel optimization—you deliver metrics, not just features
• Deep technical and analytics understanding: proficiency with web analytics (GA4, tracking concepts, dashboards), basic SQL knowledge, and solid understanding of modern e-commerce architectures (Shopware, Magento, commercetools, or headless/API solutions)
• Commercial drive: you think in contribution margins and unit economics, ruthlessly prioritizing feature requests by P&L impact
• Strong UX/UI sensibility with a commitment to launching only flawless, customer-friendly web applications
• AI-first mindset: you naturally integrate AI tools into your daily workflow to elevate analyses, specs, and experiments quickly
• Native-level German and excellent English proficiency
• Office-first mentality: you value in-person collaboration, quick communication, and working on-site in Berlin-Mitte

Nice to have:

• Experience with complex or technical consumer products
• Understanding of smart-home standards and platform ecosystems
• Knowledge of merchandising, pricing interfaces, and margin logic for bundled products
