Patternmaker Apprentice

Weir is hiring a Patternmaker Apprentice at our Belleview location. This is a full-time hands-on role where you'll develop core skills in pattern-making while contributing to our manufacturing operations from day one.

Your Responsibilities

• Create and modify patterns following technical drawings and specifications
• Operate pattern-making equipment and hand tools with precision and safety
• Assist experienced patternmakers with pattern development and fabrication
• Inspect finished patterns for accuracy and quality standards
• Prepare materials and maintain workspace organization and cleanliness
• Collaborate with production teams to support manufacturing workflows
• Learn and apply industry best practices under direct supervision

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Physical capability to lift, stand, and work in a manufacturing environment
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Valid Florida ID or documentation as required
