We are representing a confidential hospitality technology client in their search for a Business Development Representative based in Canada. Our client is a global organization transforming how the hospitality industry operates through innovative software solutions.
This is an entry-level role ideal for someone eager to build a career in business development within a fast-paced, global environment. You'll work alongside an experienced sales team while developing your skills in prospecting, client engagement, and strategic selling.
Responsibilities
- Identify and create new business opportunities to drive growth
- Engage potential clients through compelling outbound communication
- Schedule and follow up on meetings to maintain prospect engagement
- Monitor and report on progress toward sales targets
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategic approaches

What We're Looking For
- Cold outreach experience (cold calling, emailing, etc.) is required
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in sales, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is a plus but not required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders
- Understanding of effective sales techniques and strategies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle objections confidently
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
