About This Position
As Sr. Maintenance Technician at our Suwanee location, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems that support our warehouse and distribution operations. You'll work independently and collaboratively with other technicians, operations staff, and external contractors when needed. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance while contributing directly to facility reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, machinery, HVAC systems, and facility infrastructure
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective repairs
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and equipment records
- Conduct routine inspections of facility systems to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors on complex repairs and system upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
- 5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead technician capacity
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
