Timberland: Store Manager – Willowbrook Mall

Join VFC as a Timberland: Store Manager at our Willowbrook Mall location in Wayne, New Jersey. This is a full-time opportunity to lead retail operations and build a high-performing store team in one of the region's premier retail destinations.

Position Summary

As Store Manager at our Willowbrook Mall Timberland store, you'll take ownership of all daily store operations while fostering an exceptional customer experience. You'll drive sales performance, manage inventory, and lead a team of retail associates in a dynamic retail environment. This role reports to the District Manager and serves as the primary leader accountable for the store's success in Wayne, New Jersey.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee all store operations including opening, closing, cash handling, and daily reporting procedures
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of retail associates to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales goals
• Drive store profitability through effective inventory management, loss prevention, and operational efficiency
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store meets brand guidelines and cleanliness standards
• Execute sales strategies, promote products, and monitor performance metrics to meet and exceed targets
• Manage scheduling, payroll compliance, and ensure all team members receive proper training and support
• Build relationships with customers, address concerns, and gather feedback to improve the shopping experience
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, local regulations, and health and safety standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven retail management experience, ideally with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and develop retail teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales, manage budgets, and achieve financial targets
• Proficiency with POS systems and retail management software
• Ability to work retail hours including evenings and weekends as needed for store operations
• High energy, organizational skills, and comfort in a customer-facing, fast-paced retail setting
• Flexibility to respond to business needs and handle multiple priorities
