About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential business travel technology client in their search for a Senior Business Travel Consultant to support their executive and VIP client portfolio. This is a premium service role requiring someone who can deliver exceptional, personalised travel support to senior leaders and high-value corporate accounts.

Our talent team is seeking professionals with a strong hospitality or luxury service background who understand how to balance white-glove customer care with contact centre performance metrics. You'll manage complex, time-sensitive travel arrangements while building trusted advisor relationships with discerning travellers.

This position is available as either a hybrid role (3 days on-site in Edinburgh) on a permanent contract, or fully remote on a 2-year fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end executive and VIP travel including flights, accommodation, ground transport, and bespoke requests
• Provide expert recommendations aligned to traveller preferences and corporate policy
• Handle urgent travel disruptions and last-minute changes with calm professionalism
• Support multiple communication channels including phone, chat, and email in a fast-paced environment
• Build long-term relationships with executive travellers through consistent, high-quality service
• Meet operational KPIs including productivity, handle time, SLA adherence, and customer satisfaction targets
• Work collaboratively within a high-performance team culture
• Current schedule includes 8am-8pm Monday-Friday shifts with rotational weekend coverage

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Proven experience delivering premium customer service in executive travel, hospitality, aviation, luxury brands, or similar sectors
• GDS experience with platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or equivalent (cross-platform training available)
• Strong understanding of contact centre performance metrics and quality standards
• Exceptional communication skills with a polished, confident, and discreet approach
• Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Desirable experience:

• Supporting senior stakeholders, C-suite executives, or high-net-worth individuals
• Exposure to out-of-hours or on-call travel support models
