About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential digital analytics consultancy based in Munich. Our client is seeking a Senior Implementation Specialist to take ownership of tracking implementations from requirements gathering through go-live. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll translate business needs into robust analytics solutions while acting as a trusted advisor to end clients.
Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and translate business use cases into technically sound tracking and implementation concepts
- Develop and document tracking concepts, data models, and data layer requirements in alignment with clients and development teams
- Implement tracking solutions using tag management systems and ensure scalable data collection
- Conduct technical testing, debugging, and systematic data validation to maintain data quality
- Incorporate consent management and data protection requirements from the start of implementation
- Serve as the technical interface between business stakeholders and development teams
- Share expertise and contribute to standards, best practices, and process improvements
- Support tool selection, architecture decisions, and migrations on select projects
What We're Looking For
- Several years of professional experience in digital analytics, web analytics, tracking, or MarTech implementation
- Strong knowledge of at least one tag management system
- Proven experience designing and implementing data layers and tracking concepts
- Solid understanding of both client-side and server-side tracking architectures
- Strong technical grasp of web technologies, particularly JavaScript
- Experience with testing and data validation of analytics implementations
- Understanding of consent management, data protection, and technical implications for tracking
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Structured, analytical, and quality-oriented working style
- Genuine interest in taking ownership and implementing solutions, not just analyzing challenges
- Fluency in German and English for client-facing communication
