Senior Online Marketing Strategy Manager (Mensch)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media and marketing organization in Hamburg seeking a Senior Online Marketing Strategy Manager. In this role, you will serve as the specialist for video marketing, navigating digital video channels and acting as a central point of contact for evaluating the video advertising landscape.

• Market and trend analysis: Continuously monitor developments in the video market across TV, streaming, addressable TV, online video, and social video platforms to keep planning strategies current
• Opportunity identification: Derive concrete opportunities from market movements and provide clearly formulated recommendations that client teams can immediately action
• Product and tool development: Contribute structure, practical expertise, and fresh perspectives to the conception and evolution of video solutions and planning tools
• Standards and playbooks: Actively participate in developing practical playbooks and standards for integrated video planning while ensuring consistent quality in application
• Project coordination: Work with leadership to coordinate innovation projects and maintain close alignment with planning, buying, data/tech, and client consulting teams
• Knowledge transfer and representation: Proactively share insights with internal teams, support training initiatives, and represent our client in partner meetings or pitches when needed

What We're Looking For

• Video expertise: Broad understanding of the video market with genuine interest in continuously deepening and applying this knowledge
• Professional experience: Several years of experience in the video market, ideally from client consulting or planning roles—you know how to prepare complex topics for different audiences and persuade stakeholders
• Consulting competence: Structured thinking and the ability to derive clear action recommendations come naturally to you
• Communication strength: You can make complex matters understandable for experienced colleagues, newcomers, and clients alike
• Intrinsic curiosity: You follow market developments not because you must, but because you want to
• Initiative: You don't wait for topics to come to you—you pursue them proactively while working as independently as possible
• Team spirit: You thrive on mutual support and enjoy moving forward together with colleagues
• Language skills: Fluency in German is required for this Hamburg-based position; English proficiency is valued
