Senior Data Scientist (German-speaking)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise AI platform company seeking a Senior Data Scientist who is fluent in German. In this client-facing role, you will:

• Deliver user training, demos, and ongoing consultative support to help clients discover and master advanced analytics platforms
• Analyze and investigate diverse data and machine learning applications across multiple industries and use cases
• Provide strategic guidance to customer and account teams to drive client success
• Scope and co-develop production-level data science projects alongside client teams
• Mentor and educate data scientists and other team members to support their professional development

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking candidates with:

• Native German and fluent/native English language skills
• Over 5 years of experience coding in Python, R, and SQL
• Over 5 years of experience building machine learning models
• Strong understanding of data systems and platform mechanics, including Cloud architectures, Kubernetes, Spark, and SQL
• Ability to clearly explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technical skills
• Empathy and a passion for sharing knowledge with colleagues and clients

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in consulting or customer-facing data science roles
• Background in Data Engineering or MLOps
• Experience developing web applications in JavaScript, RShiny, or Dash
• Experience building APIs
• Familiarity with enterprise data science tools
• Passion for teaching or public speaking
