About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential global network infrastructure organization seeking a Senior Customer Engineer based in Shenzhen, China. This is a remote position supporting enterprise clients across the region, with a particular focus on Hong Kong markets.

In this role, you'll serve as a quota-carrying technical advisor who owns the complete customer relationship—from initial discovery through long-term expansion. You'll leverage AI-augmented workflows to eliminate administrative tasks and focus on high-value architectural design and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Technical Validation: Partner with sales teams to lead technical discovery, design bespoke architectures, and deliver compelling product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts across security, networking, and developer platform solutions
• Trusted Advisory: Maintain continuous, deep relationships with key stakeholders throughout the entire customer lifecycle, from onboarding through maturity, renewal, and expansion
• Strategic Alignment: Own long-term technical relationships, ensuring continuous alignment between customers' evolving business goals and the product roadmap
• Commercial Accountability: Carry a variable quota tied to new business acquisition and account growth, ensuring deep platform adoption, revenue retention, and identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities based on usage data
• Executive Engagement: Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews to translate platform capabilities into ROI for C-level executives
• AI Orchestration: Leverage AI agents and automation platforms to handle routine tasks such as RFP responses, security questionnaires, and sandbox provisioning, freeing time for strategic customer advisory work

What We're Looking For

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering
• Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture
• Proven track record in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment with strong understanding of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, capable of communicating both technical details and high-level business strategy
• Bilingual fluency in English and Cantonese (required for supporting Hong Kong customers)
• Hands-on experience with edge computing platforms, serverless architectures, or AI/ML deployment
• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures (preferred)
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for custom integrations and scripting

Compensation
