Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential electronics organization in Wetzlar seeking a Software Developer to join their growing team. In this role, you will:
- Develop and enhance web-based software solutions with a focus on Java backend development
- Transform customer and product requirements into software modules, creating use cases and user stories
- Participate throughout the agile development process—from requirements analysis through implementation, testing, and release
- Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to defined development and programming standards
- Contribute to innovative software solutions and explore new technologies, cloud-native architectures, and AI-assisted development tools
What We're Looking For
Our client requires candidates with:
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in object-oriented software development, particularly with Java or Kotlin
- Knowledge of technologies including Spring, Maven, GraphQL, SQL/NoSQL, and TypeScript
- Ideally, experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
- Experience with agentic engineering, as well as development, integration, and control of AI-supported, autonomously acting software agents
- Technical understanding, ideally in electrical engineering environments
- Very good German and good English language skills
