About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-established retail fashion organization in Northern Germany. Our client operates multiple locations across Schleswig-Holstein, offering a comprehensive shopping experience in women's, men's, and children's fashion, young fashion, accessories, and home & living products. This is a leadership role based in Heide, combining strategic HR management with hands-on retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for leadership on all personnel matters and HR strategy
• Develop and implement innovative HR initiatives for employee retention and professional development
• Ensure optimal sales floor staffing and manage sales operations effectively
• Lead strategic workforce planning to meet current and future business needs
• Attend industry trade fairs and implement modern methods to strengthen employer branding in the retail sector
• Maintain active presence on the sales floor, supporting customer service and driving revenue growth
• Ensure ideal sales coverage and situational sales management across locations

What We're Looking For

• Completed apprenticeship as a retail specialist (Einzelhandelskaufmann/-frau) or degree with textile industry knowledge; additional qualifications such as Handelsfachwirt or Personalfachwirt highly valued
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with genuine passion for developing and motivating team members
• Confident, authentic presence with excellent communication skills and assertiveness
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and inspire retail teams
• Creative and innovative approach to advancing your area of responsibility
• Enthusiasm for customer service and sales, with a customer-first mentality
• German language proficiency required for this role
