Plasma Center Nurse- LPN

Takeda is recruiting a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time placement at our Plasma Center in Loveland, Colorado. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on patient health while delivering compassionate care in a specialized medical environment.

What This Role Involves

As an LPN at our Plasma Center, you'll be at the frontline of patient care, supporting life-saving plasma donation processes. You'll combine clinical expertise with genuine compassion to ensure donors are comfortable, safe, and supported throughout their visit.

Core Duties

• Screen donors for eligibility and obtain comprehensive medical histories
• Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy procedures for plasma collection
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition during and after donation
• Provide clear pre- and post-donation education and guidance
• Prepare and administer anticoagulant medications as prescribed
• Operate and troubleshoot plasma collection equipment
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols

What You Bring

• Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Colorado
• Demonstrated phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliability and a team-oriented mindset
