IT Support Engineer

Our talent team is representing a fast-growing technology company in Brighton that is transforming their industry through innovative digital solutions. We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their 400+ person team and play a vital role in maintaining their modern, cloud-first IT environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive IT professional who wants to go beyond ticket resolution and contribute to meaningful projects that improve systems and user experience across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the entire team, ensuring colleagues receive clear, proactive communication and feel well-supported
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across macOS and Windows environments, ensuring all team members have the right equipment and knowledge to succeed
• Manage the full employee IT lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
• Maintain critical systems including identity management, MDM platforms, and cloud-based tools
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to IT systems and processes
• Balance daily support tasks with contributions to long-term IT projects
• Take ownership of issues from initial report through to complete resolution
• Continuously develop technical skills and stay current with emerging technologies

What We're Looking For

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
• Solid foundation supporting both macOS and Windows in business environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with full ownership mindset
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to all levels
• Experience with modern, cloud-first technology stacks including SSO, MDM (Jamf, Intune), Google Workspace
• Familiarity with basic networking, AV systems, cloud telephony, and service desk ticketing software
• Proactive and collaborative approach, comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
• Genuine passion for technology and continuous learning
