Logistics & Warehousing Coordinator

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization in Reading, Berkshire, seeking a Logistics & Warehousing Coordinator to join their production facility. This is an on-site, hands-on role supporting end-to-end logistics, shipping, and warehousing operations for hardware products distributed globally.

In this position, you will:

• Coordinate global shipping logistics by liaising with carriers, preparing export and import documentation, processing customer shipments, and ensuring compliance with dangerous goods and customs regulations
• Use internal asset and inventory management systems to log, track, and update stock and logistics records accurately; monitor inventory levels and support handover processes with production teams
• Process returns and repairs by liaising with technical support and quality teams to maintain efficient case handling
• Perform goods-in inspections, picking, packing, and non-electrical sub-assembly work according to standard operating procedures while maintaining the warehouse in an organized, safe, and audit-ready condition
• Train to run goods-in, picking, and despatch processes independently, and maintain process records and work instructions to enable cross-coverage
• Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities within logistics, warehousing, and facilities operations, including cost and efficiency tracking

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
• Working knowledge of shipping and customs documentation and processes
• Comfortable with physical warehouse tasks including picking, packing, and moving stock
• Competent IT skills including Excel and email
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Key skills and attributes:

• Proactive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail and genuine interest in continuous improvement
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to train towards independent operation of goods-in, picking, and despatch processes
• Experience with dangerous goods compliance or international shipping regulations is desirable
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving production and logistics environment
• Team player capable of collaborating effectively with production, quality, and technical support teams
