Operations Lead

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization expanding operations across the United Kingdom. We're searching for an Operations Lead to own the operational backbone of their UK business unit. This is a hands-on role partnering directly with senior leadership to transform business objectives into flawless execution on the ground.

You'll be building systems, leading teams, and stepping in directly when execution needs to be fixed. This isn't a role where you manage from a distance—you'll be in the trenches ensuring daily operations, internal systems, and customer-facing execution run smoothly and efficiently at a standard that supports scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute operational strategies that support growth and align with business objectives in the UK market
• Run day-to-day operations across customer service, administrative operations, and internal workflows to maintain frictionless execution
• Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing operations and administrative team with a strong culture of ownership and accountability
• Own process improvement initiatives: identify bottlenecks, implement automation where possible, and build systems that reduce cost while increasing speed
• Lead the customer support function and handle high-stakes or escalated cases hands-on when required
• Oversee company administration and internal operations including office management, documentation, vendor coordination, and policy adherence
• Partner closely with executive leadership to translate strategic objectives into operational reality

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in operations, execution, or internal business operations within tech, fintech, or fast-scaling environments
• Proven experience leading operations and administrative teams in high-expectation, performance-driven settings
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to solve problems directly rather than simply delegating them
• Strong organizational, execution, and problem-solving capabilities
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and bringing structure to fast-moving situations
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive execution without requiring formal authority
• Strong English communication skills for working with global teams

Location: United Kingdom (hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in office)
