About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency in Cologne that is seeking a Web Analyst to join their growing analytics practice. Our talent team is looking for someone who can translate data into strategic insights while working closely with cross-functional teams serving both B2B and B2C clients across national and international markets.

This is a hybrid role based in Cologne, offering the flexibility to work remotely while maintaining regular in-office collaboration with your team.

Responsibilities

• Manage web analytics for national and international clients, developing customized solutions tailored to specific business requirements
• Design and oversee tracking implementations using GA4 and Google Tag Manager to ensure reliable data collection for analysis and optimization
• Build comprehensive dashboards in Data Studio and connect multiple data sources, including Google BigQuery integrations
• Provide strategic consultation by transforming data into actionable recommendations and identifying opportunities across the marketing funnel
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure structured and efficient project delivery
• Collaborate with analytics partners and specialists to share knowledge and bring fresh perspectives to the analytics practice

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in web analytics with a track record of independently managing multiple accounts and projects
• Strong analytical mindset—you go beyond reporting to interpret data, recognize patterns, and derive concrete recommendations
• Proficiency in tag management and dashboard creation using tools like Data Studio or Tableau
• Excellent client management skills with the ability to provide professional, consultative support
• Broad understanding of digital marketing that allows you to identify opportunities and anomalies across channels
• Self-motivated and well-organized with the ability to contribute ideas and help shape the analytics function
• Interest in emerging technologies and AI, using them as natural tools in daily work
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in both German and English at C-level proficiency
• Location requirement: Based in the Cologne area with the ability to work regularly from the office for team collaboration
