Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential communications technology organization based in Berlin, and our talent team is seeking a Software Testing Engineer to build a new testing framework from the ground up. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week on-site in Berlin, with the remainder remote.
In this position, you will:
- Design and build a test framework in Python from scratch, with significant creative freedom and ownership over the architecture
- Develop and operate continuous testing pipelines
- Ensure robust software quality through both manual and automated testing approaches
- Establish testing standards and best practices for the organization
What We're Looking For
Our client needs someone with demonstrated experience in:
- Building test frameworks from the ground up
- Software testing and system testing methodologies
- Software development practices
- Creating comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Test automation implementation
- Python (required)
- German language proficiency for team collaboration
- C# (nice to have)
- Embedded C (nice to have)
