About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential mobile gaming technology client based in Hamburg. They're scaling a high-impact user engagement platform used by millions globally, and we're searching for a Senior Technical Product Manager to drive product strategy in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring office presence Tuesday through Thursday in Hamburg, with flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Shape technical product strategy, vision, and roadmap in close collaboration with engineering leadership, balancing technical constraints with business priorities
  • Own end-to-end product backlog management including grooming, refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization
  • Write detailed, unambiguous requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute immediately
  • Lead discovery and scoping efforts, gathering inputs from engineering, data, research, and stakeholders to understand complex technical problems
  • Participate actively in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and agile ceremonies to ensure teams have well-defined work
  • Translate business needs into precise engineering requirements and communicate technical realities to non-technical stakeholders
  • Leverage A/B testing, analytics, and system monitoring to validate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement
  • Define instrumentation requirements and success metrics from the ground up

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager building digital products, ideally in mobile gaming, ad-tech, e-commerce, or online marketing
  • Strong engineering fluency—able to discuss API contracts, system architectures, database schemas, and technical trade-offs comfortably with engineering teams
  • Deep hands-on experience owning product backlogs in agile environments: writing epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and running sprint ceremonies
  • Solid experience using quantitative data, A/B testing, funnel analysis, and product analytics tools to guide product decisions
  • Understanding of how data is collected, structured, and interpreted; capable of defining instrumentation requirements independently
  • Track record working with cross-functional teams on high-scale digital products serving millions of users
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills with ability to break down complex technical and product problems
  • Ownership mindset—you unblock teams, remove ambiguity, and take accountability for outcomes
  • Outstanding communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and balance competing priorities effectively
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
