About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential B2B SaaS organization in their search for an Events Marketing Manager. This is a fully remote role open to candidates in Canada and the United States, with travel to events as needed.

Our client has built a strong reputation in the go-to-market technology space through meaningful community engagement and strategic events. From intimate executive dinners to large-scale annual activations, they've created a distinctive presence that drives real business outcomes and lasting relationships with industry leaders.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you'll shape and execute the entire events strategy—deciding where to show up, how to stand out, and turning in-person and virtual experiences into measurable pipeline and brand momentum.

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual event calendar and strategy, determining where the organization should have a presence and protecting that focus as new opportunities arise
  • Manage end-to-end event execution including logistics, budgets, venues, vendors, shipments, merchandise, and on-site coordination
  • Build event and webinar landing pages, segment contact lists from Salesforce and HubSpot, and independently run promotion campaigns from invites through follow-up
  • Produce virtual events and webinars from speaker prep and rehearsal through live execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing on branding and promotion, with Sales to identify and invite prospects and customers, and with Partnerships on sponsor activations
  • Ensure seamless on-site experiences from setup to close, keeping schedules on track
  • Build and nurture community relationships with industry leaders, partners, and community members
  • Track event performance, collect attendee data, measure engagement, and report on pipeline impact
  • Work with Marketing to repurpose event content including photos, videos, and testimonials for ongoing communication
  • Manage vendor relationships and budgets, sourcing partners and negotiating rates while maintaining quality
  • Conduct post-event debriefs and continuously improve the program based on learnings
  • Bring creativity and original ideas to how the organization shows up at events

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 2+ years in event management, field marketing, or community roles, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • Proven ability to plan and execute events ranging from small dinners to large-scale activations
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot, and event platforms such as Luma or Zoom Webinars
  • Comfortable building landing pages, managing email lists, and running event promotion campaigns
  • Strong vendor sourcing, budget tracking, and on-site coordination skills
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships teams
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities with capacity to work independently and manage shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to track and report on event performance including attendance, engagement, and pipeline metrics

Personal Qualities:

  • Builder mindset—you figure things out rather than waiting for direction
  • Tech-savvy operator comfortable with CRM exports, spreadsheets, event tools, and email automation
  • Hands-on doer who executes and tracks results independently
  • Creative problem-solver who finds workarounds quickly when plans change and invents better formats when needed
  • Organized and proactive, turning chaos into systems and thinking ahead
  • Customer-focused with commitment to memorable, frictionless experiences
  • Curious and eager to learn, exploring new tools, trends, and technologies including AI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, RevOps, or MarTech environments
  • Background in partner activations or co-marketing events
  • Experience managing sponsorships or brand collaborations
  • Familiarity with analytics tools for measuring event outcomes
  • Strong network within go-to-market, Sales, or Marketing communities
  • Background in social or content amplification around events
