Teamleiter Sales (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential InsurTech client in Berlin seeking a Sales Team Leader (all genders) to drive performance and development of their telephone sales team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on daily coaching, quality assurance, and ensuring the team consistently meets sales targets through improved pitch delivery and conversation techniques.

This is a full-time hybrid position requiring 2-3 days per week in the Berlin office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach sales agents to achieve individual and team performance targets through daily support and structured feedback
• Conduct live call monitoring and joint analysis of sales conversations, providing actionable coaching on pitch delivery, objection handling, communication style, and closing techniques
• Ensure adherence to defined sales standards and quality benchmarks across the team
• Deliver coaching sessions both in-office and remotely via video calls and digital communication channels
• Continuously optimize the sales pitch structure and ensure agents execute each phase of the sales conversation effectively
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics using dashboards to track goal achievement and identify coaching opportunities
• Utilize tools including outbound dialing platforms, communication tools like Slack and Google Meet, and analytics dashboards

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Proven experience in telephone sales / telesales with demonstrated success
• Experience with professional sales training programs, either through external coaches or internal development initiatives
• Strong knowledge of established sales methodologies and ability to explain and apply techniques including objection handling, needs analysis, closing techniques, and customer communication
• Understanding of structured sales pitch frameworks, including the distinct phases of a sales conversation and objectives for each stage
• Ability to coach sales agents and provide clear, concrete, actionable feedback on telephone performance
• Willingness to work 2-3 days per week from the Berlin office
• Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
• Senior sales agents ready to transition into team leadership with a growth mindset and passion for developing others are welcome to apply

• Experience leading, coaching, or supporting remote sales teams
• Background in the insurance industry
• Experience selling subscription-based products or services
• Familiarity with KPI-driven inside sales environments
• Previous experience as a team leader, sales coach, or comparable leadership role
