About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Senior QA/Mobile Testing Specialist to join their team remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an international client building large-scale consumer-facing web applications on the MEAN stack.
This remote position requires availability for 2-3 hours per day during New York business hours. Candidates must be fluent in English and comfortable working in an agile development environment.
Responsibilities
- Create test automation frameworks from the ground up using Selenium WebDriver across multiple concurrent projects
- Develop, modify, and execute test scripts while analyzing and documenting bugs
- Perform manual testing across various browsers and operating systems
- Conduct comprehensive testing on new software products to ensure applications meet all specifications and requirements
- Record defect details, create and distribute reports outlining defect types and resolution steps, and update regression test frameworks
- Automate API testing using Postman and similar tools
- Collaborate closely with developers to identify potential operational issues, assess risks, and resolve problems proactively
- Maintain knowledgebase documentation in SharePoint
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance for complex web application platforms
- Experience with mobile web application testing tools such as Appium, Selendroid, or Robotium
- Proven expertise in test automation using Selenium with the ability to write test scripts
- Strong background in integration testing, end-to-end testing, and load testing
- Experience identifying, analyzing, documenting, and reporting test results
- Exposure to AWS, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing multilingual applications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with developers in an agile environment
- Fluent English proficiency, both oral and written
- Experience with MS Teams and SharePoint documentation is a plus
- Background working with MEAN stack teams building large consumer-facing web applications
