Patient Retention Specialist

We are representing a confidential telehealth organization that has reimagined remote rehabilitation for cardiac and pulmonary patients. Our talent team is seeking a Patient Retention Specialist to join their clinical operations and play a critical role in keeping patients engaged throughout their rehabilitation journey.

This position combines clinical expertise with patient relationship management. You will work directly with at-risk patients to address concerns, overcome barriers, and reinforce the life-changing benefits of completing their rehabilitation program. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and execute patient retention strategies that improve engagement and program completion rates
• Proactively reach out to patients at risk of leaving the program to address their concerns and reinforce progress
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to help patients overcome financial, exercise, and other barriers to participation
• Maintain thorough knowledge of clinical programs, protocols, and policies to provide accurate guidance
• Deliver high-quality support that empowers patients to take ownership of their rehabilitation journey
• Work with technology teams to ensure patients have smooth experiences with digital health tools, including troubleshooting wearables and tablets
• Track and analyze retention data using Excel to identify trends and improvement opportunities

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience as an Exercise Physiologist in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation with demonstrated strong performance
• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology (Master's Degree preferred)
• Strong proficiency with mobile technology and ability to guide patients through digital health platforms
• Proficiency in Excel for data tracking and analysis
• Excellent interpersonal skills that create a caring, supportive environment for patients
• Highly organized with ability to create and follow repeatable processes
• Self-driven and comfortable working with minimal direction in a fast-paced startup environment
• ACSM-CEP certification preferred

Bonus Qualifications:

• Sales or personal training experience
• Spanish language proficiency
• Experience working in clinical studies
• Previous remote work experience
