Senior Meditech HIM Analyst – Remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization in their search for a Senior Meditech HIM Analyst to join their team remotely. This is a key technical role supporting health information management systems across multiple facilities. Our client needs a seasoned professional who can lead projects, optimize workflows, and serve as a subject matter expert for their MEDITECH HIM applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary analyst for MEDITECH Health Information Management applications including design, configuration, implementation, maintenance, and optimization
• Configure and maintain MEDITECH HIM dictionaries, parameters, rules, forms, templates, and security settings
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, implementation, and post-go-live support for HIM projects and enhancements
• Perform application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, issue resolution, and vendor coordination for production incidents
• Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and validation activities for upgrades, patches, and system changes
• Support electronic document management, scanning workflows, chart completion processes, deficiency management, release of information, and record retention functions
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for workflow improvement, automation, and standardization
• Participate in MEDITECH upgrades, migrations, conversions, and new module implementations
• Provide advanced support for interfaces and integrated systems affecting HIM operations
• Create and maintain application documentation, workflow diagrams, support procedures, and knowledge base articles
• Facilitate user training sessions and provide mentorship to analysts, super users, and operational staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Revenue Cycle, Clinical Informatics, Compliance, Privacy, and IT Infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, CMS requirements, state regulations, and organizational policies

What We're Looking For

• Required: 10+ years of hands-on experience with MEDITECH systems
• Deep expertise in MEDITECH Health Information Management applications and workflows
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements, particularly HIPAA
• Advanced analytical skills with ability to solve varied and complex business problems
• Excellent communication skills including technical vocabulary and ability to train others
• Proven ability to lead projects and take control of implementation initiatives
• Experience with electronic document management, scanning workflows, and chart completion processes
• Knowledge of Revenue Cycle operations and clinical informatics integration
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Work Environment

This position is fully remote within the United States. The role requires up to 10% travel to facilities and corporate locations.
