We are seeking a Backend Engineer - Golang to join their core engineering team in Berlin. This is a rare opportunity to shape both the technical foundation and company culture at an early stage.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale high-performance, low-latency backend systems using Golang
• Take complete ownership of projects from concept through production deployment
• Ship rapidly, iterate based on feedback, and continuously improve solutions
• Contribute to defining the technical standards and engineering culture
• Collaborate directly with leadership to solve novel technical challenges
• Work on systems that handle massive-scale data processing in real-time

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Skills:

• Deep expertise in Golang with proven production experience
• Track record of impressive technical achievements demonstrating exceptional engineering ability
• Fast learner who thrives in rapidly changing environments
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach to solving complex technical problems
• Strong desire to work in a startup environment with high autonomy
• Resilience and ability to handle pressure while maintaining velocity

Helpful Experience:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization
• Previous work at fast-growing startups or early-stage companies
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools
• Ability to balance code quality with speed and pragmatism
