Senior Management & Technology Consultant – CPG/Retail

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization seeking a Senior Management & Technology Consultant specializing in CPG/Retail for their Munich office. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor guiding clients through data-driven business transformation initiatives.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Discovering and translating clients' strategic priorities into high-impact use cases for process intelligence solutions
• Building demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices to demonstrate value
• Undertaking value assessments or proof-of-value projects and communicating opportunities to C-level executives
• Facilitating business value workshops to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement
• Deriving improvement measures in core business functions and initiating enterprise-wide change initiatives
• Presenting results and realized value to senior management and executive stakeholders
• Managing the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption and renewal phases
• Building strategic expansion roadmaps to embed process intelligence as a strategic business transformation platform
• Managing multiple projects across aligned accounts at different stages of implementation
• Providing feedback to product development teams based on new use cases and customer requirements

Native-level German proficiency is required for this role. You must be able to lead customer workshops, conduct executive presentations, and manage stakeholder interactions in German.

What We're Looking For

Experience and Skills:

• Background in an analytical role focused on demonstrating business value through data analysis, business process improvement and software deployment
• Experience in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, IT/Management Consulting with a business software/SaaS provider, consultancy, or in an inhouse Center of Excellence role
• Good knowledge of business software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP)
• Experience implementing RPA and/or BI tools and/or building dashboards, apps and workflows
• Knowledge of Python and/or SQL
• Experience collaborating with IT teams
• Proven track record identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures
• Experience as a change agent, training users and process owners to realize value
• Project management experience planning and managing project scopes, expectations and timelines across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Experience preparing and communicating roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domains and strategic transformation initiatives
• Industry expertise in Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals preferred

Education:

• Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or comparable program

Language:

• Native-level or near-native German language skills (written and spoken), with the ability to confidently engage German-speaking customers, facilitate workshops, and present to executive stakeholders
