Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential enterprise software client seeking a Senior Value Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor for their CPG and Retail customers in Munich. You will own the complete customer value journey—from initial engagement through long-term partnership renewal.
Identify & Frame Value
- Discover and translate customers' strategic priorities into high-impact use cases
- Build compelling demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
- Execute Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and present strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives
Realize Value
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify and qualify process enhancement opportunities
- Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Present results and realized value to senior management and executive stakeholders
Scale Value
- Build strategic expansion roadmaps embedding the platform as a business transformation solution
- Drive adoption and expansion across customer organizations
- Provide product development feedback based on new use cases
What We're Looking For
Customer Value Experience: Background in an analytical, customer-facing role such as Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting with Business Software/SaaS providers, or in an enterprise Center of Excellence for Data Analytics/Intelligence.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of business software applications (e.g., SAP), experience implementing RPA and/or BI Tools, building dashboards and applications. Proficiency in Python and/or SQL. Experience collaborating with IT teams.
Process Improvement: Proven experience identifying use cases for business process improvement, deploying improvement measures, and training users/process owners to realize value.
Project Management: Ability to plan and manage multiple project scopes, expectations, and timelines across accounts at different journey stages. Experience leveraging partner ecosystems.
Executive Stakeholder Management: Track record preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to internal and external stakeholders. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Domain Expertise: Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domains and strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services or System Transformation).
Industry Expertise: Ideally, expertise in Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals with ability to understand industry trends and strategic opportunities.
Education: Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or comparable program.
Language Requirement: Native-level or near-native German proficiency (written and spoken) is essential. You must be able to confidently lead customer workshops, conduct executive presentations, and manage stakeholder interactions in German.
