Field Service Engineer MEAT & CIS

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential medical technology organization seeking a Field Service Engineer to support advanced microscopy and imaging systems across the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and CIS regions. This remote-based role, reporting from Saudi Arabia, combines hands-on technical excellence with strategic service delivery and partner enablement.

Our client is a global leader in precision optical and digital solutions that support scientific research, diagnostics, and surgical decision-making. You will be the technical expert ensuring customers achieve optimal performance from complex instrumentation while driving service revenue growth across a diverse geographic territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced installations, repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on sophisticated microscopy and imaging systems
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical challenges, providing expert resolution and guidance to regional team members
• Work closely with channel partners across MEAT & CIS to deliver training, installation support, and repair expertise
• Develop and execute action plans to grow service revenue throughout the territory
• Create work instructions, SOPs, and technical documentation to support business implementation and team readiness
• Share knowledge proactively across the organization, mentoring junior engineers and standardizing best practices
• Travel up to 70% across the region to deliver on-site service and build customer relationships

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated technical expertise in repair, calibration, maintenance, and upgrades of microscopy systems and related precision equipment
• Proficiency across a range of products from single or multiple product groups, with advanced expertise in at least two complex systems
• Strong networking, influencing, and communication skills across functions and organizational levels
• Experience training and/or coaching technical teams
• Ability to travel up to 70% with a valid motor vehicle record
• Track record of delivering standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement (preferred)
• Experience working in matrix organizations and building relationships remotely across cultures (preferred)
