Mydpr is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Plumbing to join our full-time team across 4 locations. In this role, you'll lead engineering initiatives, manage complex plumbing system projects, and drive technical excellence across our organization.
Position Summary
As Senior Mechanical Engineer, Plumbing at Mydpr, you'll take ownership of high-level mechanical engineering projects focused on plumbing systems and infrastructure. This full-time position combines technical leadership with hands-on project delivery, offering you the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, drive innovation, and make a lasting impact on our plumbing engineering capabilities across multiple locations.
What You'll Do
- Design, engineer, and optimize plumbing systems and mechanical solutions for diverse projects
- Lead and mentor junior engineering staff in design methodologies and industry best practices
- Conduct engineering analysis, modeling, and testing to verify system performance and code compliance
- Develop technical specifications, engineering drawings, and design documentation
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver results on schedule
- Review designs and engineering solutions for quality, safety, and regulatory adherence
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and implement effective engineering solutions
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or demonstrated pathway to licensure
- Minimum 5+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience with plumbing systems expertise
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical projects and engineering teams
- Deep knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and industry regulations
- Proficiency with CAD software and modern engineering design tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaborative interpersonal skills
